Continente: Bolacha com chocolate de leite

These simple but effective chocolate sandwiches fuelled my adventures. With a crunchy biscuit surrounding a succulent, smooth and sticky chocolate filling they were destined towards my stomach. They were certainly not the best of the best, but at around 2 euros for 12 of them, they kept to the budget whilst also filling my bottomless hunger.

Bolo de arroz

These savoury-ish treats were my first pick at the supermarket. With a spongy middle and sugar sprinkled on top to sweeten them and give them a lovely texture, they are virtually a plain muffin but way more tasty. Overall they’re a great, light snack, simple but effective.
